JC's Baby Shower Gifts - Our NEW Store!
This was a decision we thought long and hard about but it was necessary to continue running our store appropriately.
When we first opened our store back in July 2012, our focus was solely towards Cell Phone Cases. We had a large selection of iPhone 4/4S and Samsung Galaxy S3 cases, and with the new releases of cell phones, we expanded! Our business took off quickly and we were happy to deliver and keep expanding, but this last year has hit us very hard with the release of the iPhone 6 and Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. Unfortunately, the S6 Edge is almost impossible to keep safe because of it's curved screen. Though it is a beautiful phone, the point of the cell cases was to protect all sides, including the front of the phone by creating bumpers in case of a frontward fall. With the S6, this just cannot be done without making the curve part of the phone unusable.... which then why get the phone at all. It is a conundrum. I myself had to make this choice between the sleek S6 Edge or just the S6 and in the end, I chose the classic look with the S6 instead of the Edge.
With the iPhone 6, although Apple claims to have amazing sale records, the cell phone case world isn't doing so great. It may also have to do with competition with the Chinese.... this year, like almost every year, postal costs increased. eBay is famous for encouraging and rewarding sellers who use Free Shipping. That would be great, but even the cheapest shipping is now over $2 (with the required tracking #s) So I would need to raise my cell case prices to compensate for the increases... which I did but then I ran into more trouble when my suppliers (all of them) stopped making the cell cases I was supplying. This hit a huge brick wall for us and I had to make a decision, spend more on cases and continue competing with the Chinese dirt cheap prices and their ways of getting around the postal rates or do I stop now, continuing selling until my stock is diminished and work on expanding our Baby Shower Gifts (which I actually have way more fun doing to be honest lol)... and it's pretty obvious now which way I chose to go.
So if you're looking for a cell case, you will still be able to find them in our store, but it will no longer be our focus, we will be moving on to making more Baby Shower Gifts for your, your friends, or your family's perfect Baby Shower!

Due to rising Postal Costs, Cell Cases are now $6.95 Each
I know some of you might not think the Dollar change in the price from $5.95 to $6.95 is much, but others may be disappointed so I wanted to take a moment and explain the change.
This dollar increase is in no way us trying to take advantage of sneaking another dollar out of you, what it has to do with, is the USPS Price to ship the case to you.
Yes, you see the case as 'Free Shipping' so you don't pay anything extra on top of the normal price of the case, I, however, do not have the 'Actual' ability to ship an item for Free or as cheaply as the Chinese do to ship overseas to you. In our country, the good ol'USA, the price of shipping anything starts at just over $2.00. That means, if your item weighs 1oz, the bare minimum weight, you have to pay just over $2.00 if you want to ship it with some kind of tracking attached to it.
Sure, I could send your case without tracking, stick it in an envelope with a few stamps, but then you'd never know where it was, and I have no reassurance that you received it, and therefore, no proof to eBay that I even sent it... So by 'eBay law' I have to send your item WITH tracking attached to it for it count in their world.
That being said, the price of shipping isn't a stand still price. Every year USPS raises the cost to ship out an item, you may have even noticed that the price your stamps is no longer the old $0.09, it's now over $0.50! That doesn't seem like a lot, but if you add up over time with constantly shipping items, it adds up quite quickly!
So, I had to raise the price. Yes, I tried to put it off as long as I could, but every year they chose to raise it... and now the price to ship it is making it impossible to even keep the business going at the same price. I had to make a choice, raise the price, or sell out the stock and shut down. I choose to stay and raise the cost by the $1.
I hope everyone can understand that this is a change I had to make, it was not something I did lightly and that being said, if the USPS begins to decline their price of shipping in the following years, I will do the same for all of you!
In the mean time I also wanted to let everyone know to expect Samsung Galaxy S6, and iPhone 6 cases very soon, I will be adding them to our store for purchase as soon as they arrive from the manufacture.

The iPhone 6 is HERE
Like you didn't see it coming?
As predicted, Apple released their new 'favorite toy', the iPhone 6 just a few weeks ago. Taller, thinner with better battery life, (but still no way to take the battery out!), these phones are the hot new electronic on the market! Even the video of the FIRST iPhone 6 being opened has gained full media attention around the globe and has become Youtube's new sensation (even though he dropped it right out of the box and then pretended to tap it like it still worked. He really did, check it out! It's pretty funny).
Now, when Apple releases a new iPhone, it's typical for them to get backed up in orders... but in 24 hours?! Apple surprised even themselves on the day of the announcement for pre-orders when they completely sold out of their iPhone 6 stock before the end of the day. This was even amazing to me, as the Samsung Galaxy has moved up in the world and has challenged Apple's famous iPhone. Many were turning to Samsung and abandoning Safari and iTunes in exchange for Google's Play Store on the Android iOS. However, with the release of the iPhone 6, it looks like Apple has regained their fame and just in time of the holidays!
Do you think there will be an iPhone 6 under your Christmas tree this year or are you waiting for that Samsung Galaxy 6 which will likely be released early spring next year?
